Museum of The "Colonia Tovar"
One of the most important and interesting things to see in the Colonia Tovar is its museum, where the creator, Prof Nestor Rojas has put a great effort to collect and show the history of this German village.
At your left, an archeological sample of the first paintings done by the first habitants of the zone, well before the discovery of America. To your right, the first mill that was used to brew coffee.
Here you can see the components used to melt and work with iron. |

Here you can see a little chapel and the living room of a baroness. One of the most important documents kept by the museum is the list of the 400 first habitants that came from Germany and the agreement signed by the government of Venezuela to accept them. By the museum there is a small library with interesting collections.
