After Gran Roque, the most visited island is probably Francisquí. Located at a short distance to the east, it can be reached in a few minutes.

What is more surprising about Francisquí is the color of the water. Dark blues contrast with turquoises. The sand, derived from coral, is very white and doesn't get hot, despite of the intensity of the sun.

In the bay of Francisquí there are always several boats, one of the best options to stay overnight in Los Roques. With a smaller boat or a short swim you can reach the restaurant located in the island.

Enjoying the water

Francisquí is the ideal place to snorkel. You will also enjoy the water, getting sun burnt or resting under a shadow.
