Western venezuelan regions

The western region besides being a booming industrial and commercial pole offers a great deal of tourist attractions.

Falcon State stands out for the wide range of destinations it offers to tourists. On one side you have Morrocoy National Park a huge natural bird refuge which comprises several keys (small islands with white sandy beaches). On the other you have Paraguana Peninsula and Coro.

In The Zulia State, (soon in Venezuela Tuya) you can admire one of the largest lakes in South America, named after the capital Maracaibo which is second to Caracas in population and economic importance.

Lara State delights the visitor with superb landscapes and a great variety of handcrafts. Its capital Barquisimeto the Twilight City, so well known for its dazzling sunsets, is an excellent starting point for numberless journeys.
