BOCA DE TIGRE CAMP is located on the Island of Tigre, at the confluence of Caño Buja and Caño Manamo. Boca de Tigre has a privileged location in the Delta because of the confluence of salt water coming from the Atlantic Ocean and fresh water from the Orinoco River, for this reason in this area there is a great diversity and abundance of flora and fauna. The camp is surrounded by important Warao Indians communities.
From the camp you can walk through the intricate marshy jungle, navigate through the river canals to observe the fauna and flora, fish piranhas and visit the Warao communities to learn their customs and their way of life.
