El Agua Water parkEl Cardón Beach
In the north of the island and very close to Playa El Agua, in Cardon Beach, there is a new attraction in Margarita, which has quickly become in one of the people’s favorite: El Agua Park.
In this park you can find the highest slide of Venezuela, the Churun Meru, of 18 meters. All the slides in the park have aborigine names and Churun Meru is the aborigine name for “Angel Falls”, appropriate to this slide, well only few dare to experience it. |

But, in El Agua Park there are slides for all tastes. Besides the Churun Meru there are four other slides with different thrill levels.
The attraction everyone enjoys is the lazy river that goes around the park. You can just let yourself be dragged by the light current, passing through different places and water fountains that result to be very refreshing.
For the younger ones, there is a very appropriate area with mini-slides. Also in this pool there is one of the other main attractions of the park, a huge barrel that lets 2000 refreshing liters of water fall.

The park counts with its own showers, dress rooms, lockers and a fast-food restaurant. It is prohibited to enter the park with food.
In your visit to Margarita, don’t stay at your lodging option. Go to this park, with the same style as the water parks in Disney, Orlando. It is a very pretty, nice and fun place. Besides the weather of the island makes it even more attractive.
